Daniel Lauretano
Dan Lauretano has over twenty-eight years of experience in the special education field working with children and adults. He has worked as a tutor in an institution, a vocational instructor at a high school, a life-skills coach at an Association for Retarded Citizens (as such organizations were called at the time he worked there), and, for two and a half decades, as a special education teacher in elementary and middle schools. His breadth of experience (working with students as young as age five and adults into their sixties) gives him a valuable perspective of the lifelong challenges these individuals, and their families, face on an ongoing basis. Dan grew up in a small town in western Connecticut, and now lives in the South Puget Sound region of Washington State with his wife, Patty.
