Founded in 2005, Deeds Publishing has a long history of publishing, designing, and promoting top-of-the-line books.  We believe in modern book publishing, where traditional quality meets innovative practice. As a hybrid publisher, we have a variety of contracts to offer our authors. Deeds makes certain every author gets the experience that fits them and their book best, whether that be through traditional publishing, an author-funded endeavor, or an equal partnership. Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Deeds Publishing welcomes submissions of book-length fiction and nonfiction. We’re particularly interested in nonfiction military history, memoir, biography, sports writing, children’s books, photography, and local/regional history (though we are open to exciting proposals on any subject), as well as well-written, dynamic novels and short story collections. We publish books for the general, educated reader, so overly specialized or academic submissions are likely not for us. We do not publish poetry or genres that we would not add value to or that we find offensive.

Please query us via email (info@deedspublishing.com) or regular post at PO Box 608, Athens, GA 30603. Send us your title, a brief synopsis, and your manuscript in Microsoft Word format, as well as a short statement about who you are and what (if any) prior publishing history you have. We will reply as quickly as possible and let you know if we’d like to consider your complete manuscript. Please observe the following formatting guidelines: Microsoft Word, 12-point text size, Times New Roman font preferred, double-spaced. We only accept manuscripts in electronic format.
