Katie Crawford is a 1993 graduate of Swarthmore College. She taught public elementary school in both Philadelphia and Swarthmore for nine years following graduation. She currently resides in Swarthmore with her husband, John, and their four children, John, Ava, Rowe, and Anthony. When not staring at the screen and figuring out what to write next, she enjoys gardening and walking in the woods, and has a mild addiction to the game of platform tennis.
