Susan S. Robert
Susan S. Robert is a native Atlantan. She holds a BA from Emory University, a JD from the Woodrow Wilson Law School and a BFA from the Atlanta College of Art, now known as SCAD Atlanta. Robert is the author of The Man Who Loved Georgia Tech, a biography of Lawrence (Chip) Wood Robert Jr., her husband's grandfather. The latest book, Envoy, focuses on Chip's leadership role in the Marshall Plan and his relationships with President FDR, President Harry S. Truman, and General George Marshall. Susan is an abstract painter who has exhibited across the Southeast, and her work can be found in many private and public collections, including the High Museum of Art. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Lawrence (Chip) Wood Robert IV, and their dog, Bailey.
