William j Barry was born in Newton, New Jersey, but moved to Florida, and then to Georgia at a young age. He went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. William has enjoyed penning stories since grade school. They were a good outlet for his overactive imagination.

After college, William returned his focus to writing. He wrote a trilogy of young adult dark-fantasy novels: Sebastian and the Afterlife (2011), Agents of the Reaper (2012), and Forever Awakening (2014).

Besides writing novels, William also enjoys writing/recording music. He currently lives in Bogart, GA with his wife and two Dachshunds
